Permits
Permit applications
The drawings, the substantiation and the application, so you do not have to work out the process yourself.
For an environmental permit the municipality needs a fixed set of documents: existing and proposed plans, elevations, sections, a site drawing and usually structural substantiation. Those are exactly the drawings we produce anyway. So we handle the application from start to finish, together with our engineer and, where required, our architect.
Check first, design second
What is allowed at your address is not in a leaflet. It depends on the zoning plan, the rear garden zone, the building height and whether the property sits in a protected townscape. We establish that per address before designing, so a plan does not collapse halfway.
Frequently asked
- How long does a permit application take?
- A standard application has a statutory decision period of eight weeks, which the municipality can extend once by six weeks. Listed buildings or a departure from the zoning plan follow a longer procedure. Allow a few weeks on top of that for preparing the documents.
